The House of Hope Hospital in Kumasi, Ghana is a new project being built and funded by one man named Albert Anarwat.
As a young child growing up in a poverty stricken part of Ghana Albert was sponsored by Christian Missionary's and given the opportunity to go to school and become an RN nurse. While working in the hospital one day he had children sick with pneumonia that he had to disengaged from oxygen for lack of funds that later died. In one 12 hour shift Albert was instructed to take 5 children off oxygen who later died that day.
In that moment he dedicated himself to building a hospital and place that would take care of poor children and everyday people with little or no money and thus he started his mission to build "House of Hope Hospital" in Kumasi, Ghana. It has not been easy and it is not yet finished. There are many things that still need to be done to help accomplish this goal.
Albert moved to the United States and began working as a care worker saving all of his money and working as many as 8 months straight without a day off. He is currently trying to take the state exam in California to regain his RN status and all the while saving all of his money to build his hospital.
iMedical Equipment and Service is helping Albert achieve his dream by donating medical equipment and reducing pricing to help him get what he needs. He still needs a lot of help and any donations or support are greatly appreciated.
